We are over the moon to see Jenny + Eamon’s wedding featured on Green Wedding Shoes today. This bride poured her heart and soul into the decor for her wedding day, and we were beyond honored to be part of it all. Her write-up is also super cute, a def. must read! Check it out here!
Ahhh California weddings. Sorry guys, but there is just something about them. The sunlight, the ease of planning something outdoors, the fresh healthy food, EVERYTHING there has our heart. So we were over the moon when this lovely couple asked Jayne Weddings & Events to create and coordinate their wedding! Thank you for the he lovely photos by Susi Jacobs Photography !
Jenna and Phil are such a fun loving couple, and their wedding was such a blast for guests and vendors! We loved having access to this private estate the day prior to the event. Allowing Jordan to climb their ceremony tree and adorn it with ribbons and for us to get the floor plan and lighting just right.
Compass Floral provided some stunning floral, even floating a few in the pool for the cocktail hour! The comfy cozy lounge areas were set up by Witty Rentals, something the guests really enjoyed when they were tired from dancing. And Mother Nature provided us the most amazing weather and backdrop!

We are in SO love with this couple. Their sense of style, love for each other and kindness towards everyone they meet is intoxicating. I mean, JUST LOOK AT THEM, you can totally see it.
Cara had quite a few outfit changes, including a leather jacket and some of the most killer high tops (!!!) we have ever seen, to say that we couldn’t wait to see these photos by Cassandra Eldridge would be an understatement. Her style of photography suited this fashionable couple perfectly! !

We have been trying to blog this wedding for the longest time. We just had such a hard time choosing from the amazing photos by Nicodem Creative!
Emily works for the amazing Honeybook, so we really wanted to wow her with what we could do! As she wows us all the time with her prompt customer service skills. That is actually how we met!
Emily and Chris brought on Jayne Weddings & Events to provide our planning and decor services. The couple was so fun to work with! They really wanted to throw a fun party for their friends that reflected their own personal style. Giant gold sunburst balls, balloon table numbers, a hand painted photo booth backdrop and more! You don’t even realize that the reception didn’t have many flowers (something Emily is totally not into) !

Hey party people! Although flowers are lovely to get any day of the year, Valentine’s day is notorious for the day we are showered with the fragrant petals. This year, we wanted to help you or your lover to get it right. Skip the food store people, do not call FTD (booo, so lame), Chicago is FILLED with amazing floral shops that offer high quality flowers and unique gifts. This year, keep it local, you will be totally impressed and your lady or gent will be in awe of your awesomeness.
**Tip- if you call the flower shop and give them a budget + the colors / style you want they can put something together that will totally beat any thing you have ever seen before!**

Jenny and Eamon are such a special couple. They met at an art school, the same one I went to actually. I met Jenny through the school and I just loved her from day one. She is exuberant, uber talented, and one of the most kind people I have ever met. I knew that Eamon and her were a match made in heaven, and I almost died when she told me about her wedding details.
EVERYTHING you are about to see was made by Jennifer’s two hands (with the help of her amazing Mother, who is also an artist)
Thank you to Brad and Jenn From Q Avenue Photography for the amazing photos!
Jenny is a true artist. She creates amazing diy items here all the time. Her blog also supports women entrepreneurs, so its a must follow. (she even featured me once!) Their wedding took place at Lacuna Artist Lofts, which was the perfect backdrop for her cocktail party ART SHOW, rooftop soiree and cozy food truck dinner. I can not think of a better backdrop for this art filled wedding.
Our favorite part, by far, was the Andy Warhol inspired balloon room, and the touch light exhibit she created to entertain her guests. The warhol-esque balloons were the shape of the Steelers logo diamonds. Eamons favorite team. She tried so hard to have items that would reflect both of their styles. Which we can totally appreciate.
They hired Jayne Weddings and Events for decor consultation/set-up and month of coordination.

Jayne Weddings & Events had a blast working with this couple. They both come from creative fields, and had very good taste, which made it easy to work with them on the design of their big day. They hired us for full service coordination + event design.
This couples biggest concern was their guests, and that made us love them even more. We made sure to welcome them with gift bags filled with treats from Texas & Chicago, all with a Scottish twist. We also incorporated many Scottish traditions into the event. Did you know that in Scotland, the speeches are the entertainment vs. dancing being so? The speeches can be up to an hour long, and people place bets on how long they will run! Hugh taught us so much about these fun differences in traditions.
They were also a fan of the dramatic. We had the music stop as the groomsmen petaled the aisle with a thick blanket of white flowers. before Mary walked down it. The silence made guest even more eager to see the Bride. Bagpipers not only welcomed guests into the venue, they also played as the couple was announced as newlyweds. The whole scene was something we are honored to be part of.
Hugh had custom vests made out of his families tartan fabric. Their dog Shamrock brought in the rings. Mary’s love of purple shown through in the flowers by Fleur. Her love of all things vintage and timeless was reflected in the custom invites, table numbers and place cards by Sarah Drake. Special signage was hand done by the lovely Layers of Loveliness. The dessert buffet was packed with so many different types of English desserts. The cake, had a beautiful rough icing finish by Elysia Root Cakes. The groom + groomsmen , who are in a band together overseas, reunited onstage a few special songs. This whole event was filled with thoughtful details and a lot of love. We are thrilled to be able to share these awesome photos by Studio Finch with you!

We are thrilled to be sharing with you this beautiful wedding from the early summer. Marian + Sig came to use to help them put their ideas in motion. He is an architect and she is a graphic designer/creative director, so it was freaking fantastic/dreamy/amazing getting to collaborate with them both on the look and feel of their wedding! They hired Jayne Weddings for event design and full service coordination.
We loved the raw unfinished look of the cakes by Broken Tart, and the romantic vintage plates from Plate. We were absolutely obsessed with Sig’s navy tux and the flower girls (they are adorable, their hair, their dresses, just them in general, too cute)! Everything about this wedding was just so pretty! But we feel the show stopper of it all was the over 100 paper lantern ceiling installation we designed and installed (with some extra labor) for the happy couple! The lanterns added just the right warm inviting touch, to one of the city’s cutest venues!
Check it out!
