Jean & Anthony’s Navy Pier wedding was a wonderful combination of classic Chicago style with fun whimsical twists! Jean, was so great to work with and had so many ideas. she really wanted every aspect of the day to be meaningful and personable. The couple currently lives in Georgia, and you could just feel the Southern hospitality! She came to Jayne Weddings & Events for full service coordination & event design.
She wore a drop dead gorg wedding dress! It looked amazing on her, and she totally rocked it! The flowers were off the charts dramatic, loving that pops of brilliant purple from Forget Me Knodt. Thanks for the killer photos Julia Franzosa Photography!
Isn’t this couple so adorable! Such a stunning pair! They did a choreographed first dance, that was seriously something out of a movie, so good.
The ceremony started with the ring bearer carrying a handmade sign proclaiming “Here Comes the Bride!’. It was too cute.
For the ceremony, we wanted to do something a little offbeat and outside the box. Crystal Gardens is a gorgeous giant glass room, filled with lush greenery. With ceilings that high, we wanted to make the room feel a little bit smaller. We decided to create a fun colorful pinwheel backdrop for the ceremony. Later, this was moved to behind the sweetheart table!
The tables were decked out in bold purple flowers, which matched the lovely bridesmaid dresses. Each table was numbered with a photo of the couple. Guests grabbed their escort cards from vintage white washed drawers and headed to their table.
The tables were layered with white linens, burlap and lace runners, and the most decadent silver sparkle chargers! We also hand lettered chalkboards for the menu, as well as the ceremony!
After dinner, the guests danced the perfect evening away to The Final Say!
