Shelly + DJ | A Whimsical Wedding Wonderland

Get ready to hold on to your wedding hats people. The wedding of Shelly & DJ is stoked full of amazing details, love, and so much child-like wonder, I could scream. I actually did scream with delight when I first saw these images via the fab Jeremy Lawson. Seriously, I had to cut this blog down big time, I LOVED ever freaking image.

Shelly and DJ hired Jayne Weddings & Events for full service coordination and event design. They each had such different design aesthetics that they liked, and with their reception being help at Crystal Gardens, the thought of decor was a bit daunting to them. Luckily for us, they trusted Jayne Weddings to take their wedding dreams to the next level.  DJ has a love for graffiti and munny dolls, while Shelly is a girls girl. Loving all things fairytale like and pretty. So we brought these two together focusing on a child-like theme with pops of bold colors. Think “Where the Wild Things Are” meets “Water for Elephants”.  We spray painted hundreds of mini animals, hand cut 200 crowns for guests to wear, sewed 40 feet of star garland to circle the entire reception. All of it looked amazing, with the help of gorg juicy blooms from Forget Me Knodt and some killer vintage rentals from Aged Vintage Rentals.

Now with out further ado, the wedding dreams are made of:

Event Design & Coordination: Jayne Weddings & Events
Photography: Jeremy Lawson Photography
Floral: Forget Me Knodt
Venue & Catering: Crystal Gardens
DJ: Toast & Jam
Make-Up: Nika Vaughan
Vintage Rentals: Aged Vintage Rentals
Paper goods: Lily Red Studio
