Cassandra + Dan | A Bold, 80’s-Inspired Celebration

This wedding.

I have been telling friends and vendors and friends who are vendors, about it all. year. long. I told them about the adorable couple. About how we had 6 months to pull it together. About how they never told me no. This is a wedding that I seriously never wanted to come. I wanted to live in the happy blissful planning/creating stage forever. Cassandra and Dan wanted a wedding based on “True Romance” – have you seen this movie? There is blood and grit and so much 80’s awesomeness – seriously, go watch it. I loved the challange of turning this into a wedding. We worked hard to have bits and pieces of the movie come thru, comic blocks, runners, leopard print, horseshoes… We of course added some pops of whimsy and lovey dovey softness. (hearts leading into the venue, custom ceremony backdrop, heart shaped confetti!)  We worked with Private label linens to create the coolest custom sequin runners, Ruby the Fox delivered some seriously sweet paper goods, and of course Fleur helped bring it all together with juicy romantic flowers. Awesome food. Awesome band. Awesome desserts. Awesome attire. Awesome photographer. Awesome couple.

Best day ever.
